Instructional StrategiesĪligned instructional strategies and resources aid teachers as they plan instruction. Every standard has adapted goals so that teachers can start at the most appropriate level for students. We use strategies and supports aligned to the UDL framework to develop scaffolded instruction at mild, moderate and intense levels of support. ![]() Our repository includes content for Pre-K to Grade 12 in Reading, Writing, Math, and Speech, in addition to Behavior, Social and Emotional Learning, Autism, Occupational Therapy, Alternate Academic and Life Skills, and Transition. We take each state and Common Core standard, identify its “Essential” – or “Core Purpose” – and create IEP goals, resources, and strategies. ![]() We presume competence and write the first goal at a grade level expectation. RECOMMENDATION: Administration recommends the purchase of Goalbook Toolkit and the associated training for the approximate Exceptional Children teachers (inclusion and resource settings) to be funded by the EC Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Budget, PRC 60.We take each college and career readiness standard and create specific and measurable learning goals aligned to the standard. Goalbook is nationally certified by the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council (NAICS Code 541511). Goalbook is a web-based platform that provides EC teachers with evidence-based strategies and resources that respond to the different ways students learn based on their unique needs. To address strategic plan goals and priorities, administration is recommending implementation of Goalbook Toolkit to support Exceptional Children (EC) teachers with designing learning targets and goals in conjunction with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
